"Black Skull": A Video Poem

First, thanks for being curious enough to read this far. I understand that poetry isn't an automatic draw for everyone, including the narrator of my poem in the video below.

Paul Quinn has made his living with his voice for decades as a beloved radio announcer in the Midwest. He is a connoisseur of opera, film, horror fiction, Laurel & Hardy, and the Latin language, but this is his first significant brush with poetry. You'd never know it from his masterful reading of "Black Skull."

For my part, I write a fair amount of poetry and have even published a couple of pieces. It is a passion of mine that runs alongside my fiction writing.
